Beijing, October 21, 2021 - The International Forum of China Society for Hydropower (IF-CSHE) successfully convened its inaugural conference and first working meeting, marking a significant milestone in promoting international communication, cooperation, and the establishment of a platform for global hydropower and renewable energy businesses under the Belt and Road Initiative framework.

With the participation of over 70 prestigious institutions, including the World Bank, PowerChina, and General Electric, the event gathered distinguished executives such as Yuan Baisong, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of CSHE, and Li Yanming, Executive Vice President of PowerChina.

The conference aimed to foster a development pattern of domestic and international circulation and propel the growth of global hydropower and renewable energy businesses. Key discussions were held regarding the formation of the first committee of IF-CSHE, as well as the formulation of specific work plans and activities for the forum.
